Through the Cross-Re-Tour project, we are introducing sustainable water solutions that reduce single-use plastic while making it easy for every participant to stay hydrated during our outdoor adventures. Whether you’re joining us for kayaking, trekking, rock climbing, coasteering, or ziplining, choosing a reusable bottle helps protect the landscapes and coastlines that make these experiences so special.
Every Bottle Matters​
Single-use plastics are one of the biggest threats to our environment. Every year, millions of plastic bottles and other disposable items end up in our oceans, valleys and natural landscapes, where they can take hundreds of years to break down. Instead of disappearing, they slowly degrade into microplastics that pollute the environment and harm wildlife, marine life and even our food chain. By choosing reusable water bottles instead of single-use plastic, we can significantly reduce waste, conserve natural resources and help protect the beautiful places we love to explore. Small changes in our everyday habits can make a lasting difference for future generations.

At MC Adventure, nature is at the heart of everything we do. From Malta’s rugged cliffs and crystal-clear waters to its hidden valleys and scenic trails, these incredible landscapes are our workplace, our playground, and our greatest responsibility. We believe that every adventure should leave nothing behind but memories. That’s why we were proud to be part of the Cross-Re-Tour project, which helped us develop a sustainable water refill solution for our activities. By providing fresh, cool drinking water throughout our adventures, we make it easy for participants to stay hydrated while reducing the need for single-use plastic bottles. It’s a simple change that helps protect the natural environment we all enjoy, ensuring it remains beautiful for future generations to explore.
Our Mobile Water Refill Solution
Our sustainable water solution has been designed specifically for outdoor activities, allowing participants to stay hydrated wherever the adventure takes them. We bring portable water dispensers to our activity locations, powered by rechargeable batteries to keep the water fresh and cool throughout the day. To ensure the best experience, we also use ice to maintain a refreshing drinking temperature, even during Malta’s hot summer months.
We encourage all participants to bring their own reusable water bottles and refill them during the activity, helping to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles. If you don’t have a reusable bottle, we can also provide one, allowing everyone to take part in our sustainability initiative.
